Born in Baton Rouge, LA, Armand got his start in photography on the streets of Ramallah in the Palestinian Territories while working with a US-based international relief and development organization. While in Ramallah, Armand covered protests and daily life in the West Bank. He has also traveled extensively in the region, including Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates.
In his native Louisiana, Armand has worked with the local music scene, shooting promo and concert shots for up and coming bands such as the Benjy Davis Project and The Delta Kings.
He has had his work published internationally in 225 and Uttryck magazines, and has had featured photos in the Washington City Paper, and .:urbancode magazine in DC. He is currently a staff photographer at .:urbancode and contributing photographer to REDimages.com. He his currently available for special assignments in California.
