Elyse Pastel is a freelance illustrator and product designer. She has two children's books coming out in Spring, 2008; Tutu Twins and Cinder Rabbit. Elyse lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children and is an instructor at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA). She is also a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).
