i am a kiwi, hailing from Aotearoa (New Zealand). currently based in London, UK.

photography seems to be developing into an obsession more and more these days. while in London urban landscapes seem to be the flavour of the moment - i relish the challenge of trying to capture London from a unique angle, as opposed to the typical postcard views that are so prevalent.

my photos tend to have very limited post processing for two reasons; the first being that my post processing skills are very basic! the second being that i prefer a more raw and real world appearance to my photos. of course this isn't to say that i do not appreciate all the cool stuff other folks do in the PP stage!

a recent trip to NZ (march 2008) had me taking 12,000+ photos over 3 weeks... and yes i am still processing them (the pleasure/pain of shooting raw!). the trip really helped my photography and has helped me take it to the next level - i am now more excited about photography than ever!

i recently spent far too much money on upgrading my Canon 400D to a 5D and a couple of L series lenses. so far so good!
