Read lessI don't really know Elsie at all...but she is one of the main people who inspired me to pursue photography. I hope that some day, I could be able to communicate as much as she does through simple pictures. I'm kind of rambling...but Elsie is one of the best and most inspiring here on Flickr.
This stream is excellent. Every aspect -- composition, lighting, shadows, tones -- is intentional, and it's definitely a privilege to have access to these photos. This is art; this is life.
Elsie is one of the most creative people that I have looked at on flickr. She always has pictures that tell stories. Everytime I look at her photostream, I get inspired and I just keep thinking "Maybe I could be like that someday". Her photostream just keeps getting better and better, keep it up gorgeous!

Elsie is, for lack of a better word, simply great at what she does. ever since a friend showed me her photography myspace, i've looked up to her and admired her photos. the pictures she take are all unique and crystal clear, really creative, and when there are people in them, they always look intrigued. i also love all of Her self-portraits, alot of these ideas are things i could never come up with in my wildest imagination. Even though I'm only about a year or so younger than Elsie, i hope one day i'm as good as her.

Whenever I see one of her pictures on the 'Contact's Recent Updates' chunk, I'm compelled to click on it - even from a tiny thumbnail, I know its going to be amazing. Her work is just brilliant, no doubt about it. Everything has a different, wonderful feel to it. I just LOVE her work.
I. Love. Elsie's. Photostream. Her's has to be one of my favorites, hands down. The way she put photographs together and how she processes them are perfect. I love seeing new photos from her, they're always so different and unique from the previous. You should probably like her work as much as I do. :)

I feel like every photo by tuff teal has her personality. All of her photos feel like more than just pictures, it is part of her. I think that is very unique.

I've been talking to Elsie on myspace for a bit, before she made the amazing choice to create her own Flickr. What I really like about Elsie's photos is the emotion and creativity that is apparent in every single photograph on her stream. She made a smart decision buying Charlie too! :)
