El Rayo Taqueria opened in May, 2009, with the goal of acquiring fans of its fresh Mexican food. What we didn't realize was that people would be lined up outside the door on the first day. The El Rayo team bonded quickly as we first served lunch and eventually dinner to the hungry crowds.
