I'm British and I've been mostly living in Mexico for the last five years. I love Mexico deeply and it’s endlessly fascinating to me.

I got my first camera for my eighth birthday; ten years later I started taking pictures more seriously with an old SLR, and now another ten-plus years later I find myself increasingly obsessed and lusting after bits of kit for the first time! Mostly I take pictures of people, events, details, the urban environment… I’m really bad at landscapes and anything involving flash. I can live with that for now.

Other things that I like include: books (more than anything), words, writing, talking, ideas, geeks, greenies, lefties, dancing, wandering, new places, old places, painting murals, drawing on inappropriate objects (fruit, people, etc), paper stars, circuses, fairgrounds, markets, lucha libre, modern art, street art, flying kites, volleyball, trees, rivers, walking, playing, detective stories on the radio, the English language, speaking Spanish.

Soy británica y tengo cinco años viviendo en México. Quiero profundamente a México, y siempre me fascina.

Recibí mi primer camera en mi octavo cumpeaños; diez años después empecé a sacar fotos mas seriamente con réflex vieja, y ahora otros diez años y más después me encuentro cada vez más obsesionada ¡y codiciando cosas de equipo por primera vez! Generalmente tomo fotos de gente, eventos, detalles, el entorno urbano… soy muy mala en los paisajes y todo con flash. Puedo vivir con ello por ahora.

Otras cosas que me gustan incluyen: libros (sobre todo), palabras, escribir, platicar, ideas, los "geeks", ecologistas, izquierdistas, bailar, vagar, nuevos lugares, viejos lugares, pintar murales, dibujar en objetos pocos apropiados (frutas, personas, etc), estrellitas de papel, circos, ferias, mercados, lucha libre, arte moderno, arte callejero, volar papelotes, voleibol, árboles, ríos, caminar, jugar, cuentos policíacos en el radio, el idioma ingles, hablar español.
