Chad, oh, Chad. I’ve known Chad for twelve years now and when I stop and think about my life today, I am struck with deep gratitude for all that he has given me. My quality of life is far better now than it was, thanks to Chad, who has this amazing gift of connecting his friends and has created a very special network of people. I know that I wouldn’t be able to do what I do without their friendship and support. This wouldn’t have been possible without Chad’s teaching my anti-geek self about computers and the world wide web and all things technical and his patience has resulted in expanding my universe greatly. One of the things that stands out the most to me about Chad is how brilliantly creative he is, with a mind that is fascinated by such a broad range of subjects that combine themselves to make up one of the most unique and fascinating individuals I have ever known. And Chad’s heart is humongous. He is strong but yet also sensitive and compassionate with the gift of insight and introspection, as well as caring about the world and wanting to work to make it a better place. I have been blessed to know Chad on his journey thus far and I am looking forward to seeing where his path takes him in this world.
