I earn my life by writing free software (free as in freedom).

I love taking photos and processing them by using free software. I use GIMP, UFRaw, dcraw, ImageMagick, GPSCorrelate, ExifTool and various other tools on Linux. I wrote bash scripts to automate my workflow and they had saved much time for me.

My first camera was a Kodak P712 from my uncle. It featured 12x zoom and IS. It has visited many remote places included Tibet and snow mountains with me.

I'm using a Canon EOS 5D Mark II now. I have only one lens: EF 24-70 f/2.8L. My girlfriend is using an Olympus e-420 with a 50mm prime pancake lens.
