Many of her photos display confident women in natural light and environment, which makes her art seem very lovable and down to earth. Serena is one of a kind, I know this because I felt it the moment that I met her. Rarely, you will find those who actually photograph their innermost feelings and desires. But, this is apparent through Serena's melancholic, yet beautiful photos. She has an eye for finding beauty, rather than creating it. Often, people try to create beauty in the world, but they forget about looking for beauty that is already present. However, Serena embraces it. She truly communicates her feelings successfully to an audience. Her self portraits show intricacy and delicacy, yet remain bold. I can't wait to see what she produces next. She truly caught my eye through her self portraits, and now she has begun some fashion work. So, as a fashion lover/photographer this gets me extremely excited! And I still can't seem to work out how she masters those lovely black and whites!

Serena's work never ceases to amaze me. She has a way of combining sophisticated compositions with bright playful colours which is such a joy to see. Her images are strikingly eye-catching yet somehow still wonderfully delicate. Having been photographed by Serena I can say she made me feel truly comfortable in front of her camera and the photographs she created made me feel beautiful. As the subject you put so much trust into the photographer to capture you how you'd like to see yourself and Serena is most certainly deserving of that trust! Serena is one of the photographers whose work is constantly improving and blossoming into something even more beautiful than it already is. She is without a doubt one to watch!
