I get lost in nature’s vast and interconnected world, spending hours in the woods looking intentionally at everything around me. My primary subjects are not the sensational or exotic, but rather quiet, near-at-hand wonders. Particularly fascinated by nuances of seasonal change, my images often focus on water, sky, reflections, and shadows.

My artistic goals are to visually awaken the unfamiliar in the familiar, to celebrate nature as an aspect of the sacred, and to reaffirm our compelling human responsibility to protect the earth.

I especially enjoy leading small workshops on 'The Art of Seeing,' designed for artists and non-artists alike to develop visual awareness, imagination, and a spirit of joyfulness.
