I grew up in the highlands of New Jersey and then moved to Ithaca, New York to study plant ecology at Cornell University. Following graduation in 2010, I spent two years living abroad - one in Costa Rica where I worked on a floral database at Las Cruces Biological Field Station, the other in the UK where I less successfully kept up with my photography. Connecticut is now my home. Having recently (2015) completed my Master's degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at UConn, I am now a PhD student at Wesleyan University where I study the evolutionary ecology of an invasive plant. Being productive (photographically) in the last few years has been difficult!
