I did my first 365 group in 2008. I have done many since then, but three or four times I have dropped out mid-year. I miss doing it so will begin again on January 1, 2025.

Many of my PotD photos are not remarkable, but they document my life. I seldom plan an artsy shot. Being in a 365 group makes it fun to take pictures that I wouldn't normally take. And I have found it a great way to increase my skills. Because my phone is always with me, I gotten sloppy about having my DSLR along. In reviewing and organizing albums recently, I vowed to use it more. (Still trying to make that happen. It's a New Year's resolution once again for 2025.)

One of the things I regret is that I don't do as much commenting on other peoples' photos as I used to. Facebook has gotten in the way, I'm embarrassed to say.
