I am THEE material girl! I inherited my grandmothers love {addiction} to all things fabric! I quilted for the first time at a Sr. Citizen's center in the early 80's with my mother-in-law but weaving was my love. Handling the fiber...when i shop for fabric I find myself running my fingers down rows and rows of fabrics. Often the feel stops me long before my eye falls in love with it.

My husband and I live in a historic neighborhood in Kansas City. We are raising four amazing young women who we proudly call our daughters.

I love the outdoors, camping, photography and am an avid sea kayaker. I was just inspired by Jacquie Gering Modern Quilting 'curves' to made a 'kayak' quilt. Check out my flickr photos to take a peek.

I love all styles of quilting that invokes 'happy' and 'energy' I am not much of a fan of muted, or dirty, colors, civil war type traditional quilts.
