Lizzy is a truly incredible photographer. I honestly don't know how she does it. If I had half of her talent I am sure I would improve tenfold. She has a way of seeing the beautiful environment around her and capturing it in a way that has the rest of the world stare in wonder that such a incredible place could ever exist. I have looked through her stream countless times and am always excited when she has new work to display. Her use of light, knowledge of composition, and tenderness of subject all combine to make some of the most breathtaking images I have ever seen. Her locations are incredible but her pictures that capture them are even more so. I hope she never stops taking pictures.

Elizebeth not only has great photos she also has great stories to go with them. I noticed this when she did the 365 project which has many great photos. I love how she combines portraits of herself and her friends/family with nature pictures to create beautiful works of art. This combined with the great stories is the best of both worlds. I also enjoy reading about her highly talented dog Sparky. I was impressed at how he dances and even paints in the videos. Sparky is the first dog I have seen paint. Every time she posts a new photo I wonder what she will post next. I look foward to seeing more of her great photos and reading more of her stories.

And it keeps amazing me, going from new to old, it might've been more logic to do it the other way around, but still, you never disappoint me. Your stream is so serene most of the time, and shows how amazingly wonderfully beautiful the world can be. It's.... hopeful. And then you have your (mostly indoor) photos where they get more up close and the emotion is so great to see, like an up close glimpse of the girl who's in those wide wide landscapes that keep astounding me. So, I've been following Lizzy's pictures for ages…like since October 2009, I think…and kept meaning to write a testimonial, I was so impressed by them. But didn't and then she started her 365 project…and still I didn't…and now she's finished it…so why not now :-) So - what is it about Lizzy's pictures? For me...her understanding of light. How it all fits together with her subject(s) - most often herself over the last year, obviously…and Sparky as well…and then how the other components of the picture fit together… What epitomises Lizzy, for me? Her. Backlit by gorgeous sunshine, lighting up her hair…the beautiful BC landscape in the background…or the distant city, with beautiful bokeh discs from the city's lights… Looking forward to seeing what you produce in the future, Lizzy - all I know is that it'll be striking and stunning...

Anyway, I decided to go through your photo stream and wow, there were so many lovely pictures. The tones, the lighting, the locations - everything in your pictures just fits together and they are all absolutely stunning. I especially like how you play around with the city lights! Just beautiful! I have been following her, and liking her photos, but never until I went through her stream for a print giveaway she had that I noticed she is a natural amazing photographer. The first few days of her 365 already had the quality of work some of us will be trying ages for. She's amazing! I love the colours, the composition, the focus, the tones, the location and everything in her photos! They never cease to amaze me. Lizzy is such a creative girl, I am fascinated by how she really goes out to different locations to try out different shots for her 365 everyday. All in all, she's an amazing person. I'm kind of obsessed with them, no lie. youre one of those people that after not seeing your pictures for a few days, when I go to your stream again, I can't even comment on all of them because I don't even know what to say because they're alll awesomeee!!! each time you put a new one up: 95% of the time it BLOWS my mind, and 5% of the time it's a random candid-y shot that's super adorable :D. you use nature and God's creation SO well in your photos. your photos are colorful and natural and BEAUTIFUL.
