Admirador da boa Fotografia, da arte de se registrar momentos inesquecíveis, da expontaneidade de compartilhar com aqueles que não puderam ver ao vivo, uma cena marcante.
I'm a fan of the good photography and of the art of registering unforgettable moments, and the spontaneity of sharing with those who could not see, an outstanding scene.
I just posted my photos at web looking for some comments, some tips, some advices, that could help me growing up as a photographer (although amateur).
I'm 35 years old, I'm Brazilian and I was born with the photograph passion in the blood. My grandfather has some awarded photos, my uncle is a professional photographer, and I... well I'm learning.
I started taking pictures, somewhere in 80's, with an old Instamatic Kodak.
A long time ago! Flashes were discardable!!!
Then I had a contact with a great camera (Minolta Maxxum 5000, Autofocus).
It was about 87~89.

My uncle got it as a gift from his father due to the college conclusion.
I completelly falled in love with photography.
My photo below, called Butterfly, was taken with this camera.
My target was conclude the college and ask for a camera like that.
And it was what I did (91).... and my parents gave me a Minolta Dinax 5000i.
.
Many years after that (around 2002-2003) I bought a Canon EOS IX Lite (APS Film).
But just after buying this model I had contact with the first digital camera (my friend's canon Powershot A60). The possibility of having a shutter and aperture preview excited me. Then I start "dating" with this idea. When I went to buy one (2004), I realized that a new model was just launched (A75). I bought it.
After that (2005) I upgraded to a Canon Powershot S1.
10x optical zoom!!!!!! Amazing possibilities.

At Nov/2007 I became pretty happy with my upgrade to Canon Powershot S5 IS

And always I could, I toke some time to register good images.
At june/08, I gave a Canon Powershot SD750 as a birthday gift to my wife... sometimes I loan this from her. hehehe.
At Feb/2009 I upgraded from Canon SX5 to its sucessor Canon SX10 (20x Optical Zoom.... very exciting).

As you can see... I am always trying to upgrade, and to tell you the truth... I just bought a Canon SX30 IS (35x Optical Zoom.... even more exciting).
