Elise Smith grew up in northwest Ohio, with a camera in hand. A love of pleasing aesthetics and traveling lay a ground work for both her professional and artistic styles of photography. After receiving her Bachelors degree in photography from Ohio University, Elise set out to photograph the country and eventually settled in

beautiful southern California.

Since 2007, she has worked in the fields of creative design and e-commerce in San Diego county, and in September 2012 relocated to Temecula. A far change from the flat & rural landscapes that were her original backgrounds, she draws inspiration for her art from the rolling mountains, ocean waves, and unique flora of the region.
