I have been taking pictures since I got my first film camera but didn't really get into it until I got my first digital camera, the original Canon Digital Ixus. Since then I've usually sold my cameras every year and upgraded to a later model. In 2005 I got my first SLR and since then I've been trying to better my work by entering challenges at a local photo site and at dpchallenge. I will always try and find a time to grab my camera and go out to shoot some pictures.

My equipment of choice is the Canon 40D, which is a 10 megapixel DSLR. I compliment it with the Canon EF 16-35 f2.8 L lens, Canon EF 24-70 f2.8 L lens, Canon EF 50mm f1.8 lens and Canon EF 50mm f2.5 macro lens.

I have come to fully embrace the digital revolution that is sweeping the photographic industry. The advent of digital has not made photography less of an art form, as some traditionalists would argue. It has evolved the art form to a new level.
