I have always been fascinated by photography and carried a camera with me everywhere I went. I believe that any moment can be a Kodak moment and I have always been ready to capture a scene whether it was of people, nature or merely something I thought was interesting.

Some of my friends have motivated me to upload my shots online to share with people virtually and some others encouraged me to turn some shots I have taken during vacations into post cards. Flickr has enabled me to share my photography with the world and led me to receiving a number of requests to use my shots in various websites and magazines.

I pursued no academic education in the field of photography; however, my interest in the field has encouraged me to adopt a self improvement approach of reading intensively about the subject. Through practice and passion, I am capable of expressing myself and my thoughts through a lens. My practice in this field has always been self-governed; but with the help and encouragement of friends, I was asked to display a couple of my shots in an amateur art exhibition by Oasis Magazine in Riyadh, and was one of 20 finalists selected out of hundreds of applicants across the Middle East to participate in the British Council Photojournalism Course in UAE, which were both extremely motivational.

I thank my dear friends Sulafa Kurdi and Sara Al-Tuwaijri for believing in me and inspiring me.
