All (most?) of this stuff is out on my site too but not as well organized, and people (of course) griped about it not realizing that they get what they pay for, and Myspace photos have low resolution, so I guess I'm putting the good ones out here, for both people I actually know that use this, and, you know, in case my site goes down, the photos will live for as long as Flickr does.

My site, while it's still up, has some more photos in addition to these for anyone interested. Don't worry, nothing especially bad out there.

What else.. I tend not to put stuff up of people I know unless I know they won't mind, or they've put up a lot of themselves already, or if the photo or ones like it have already been posted somewhere else. That's because I have put pics of people I knew online once (where a whopping 3 people could see them) and they threw hissy fits like the hissy-fit-throwers they all are. .

I was a "professional photographer" (small town newspaper) for about six weeks in 1994. I sold one photo during that time for a whopping 3 bucks. This has nothing to do with the price of tea in China.

I haven't photoshopped anything I've put up here, not even compression / resize / crops for the most part. You could probably tell. I think people refer to it here as "sooc", Straight Out Of Camera. I refer to it as "icba", I Can't Be Arsed.

Oooh, here comes the legal stuff. You know it's legal stuff because it's in bold. Unlike most people on Flickr, I don't really care if you're going to copy my stuff. Which is just as well because I can't really stop you. If you posted it as your own work, I probably wouldn't notice because I'm pretty anti-social. If you posted it as your own work, then went back and unflatteringly photoshopped it and/or accused me of stealing the photo ...well, that wouldn't be very nice, now would it. In other words, to misquote Cory Doctorow quoting Woody Guthrie, "These photos are copyrighted in the U.S. under seal of copyright 6942666 1/3 for a period of 27 years and anyone caught copyin' them without our permission will be a mighty good friend of our'n, 'cause we don't give a durn. Publish it, copy it, burn it, sing to it (?), I took it, that's all I wanted to do. "

Also, if you're a weirdo, good for you. The world needs more of us whether it likes it or not.
