"Elfenwald Anderleben" is a play on words in German:

"Elfenwald" means "Forest of the Elves" and was the working title of a little ecovillage/community project that I wanted to build here in Paraguay.

"Anderleben" is not in any dictionary - it is an allusion to "Anderwelt" (the otherworld) and "Anders leben" ("live different").

Together it is my name for the kind of life that I am getting closer and closer to: very "primitive" and close to nature on the one hand, but with technology toys whereever it makes sense (computers, brainwave entrainment, renewable energy) and with a rather unique mix of self-development and lazyness, child-like playfulness and sincere caring for nature, animals (and a few rare real humans beings....)

I am a German expat (could not stand the cold, crowded Germany any more - and even less the insane EU bureaucracy there...), currently living in Paraguay.

Over the next years I plan to move to the US - not because I like their enonomic system or their foreign policy, but because it is (still) one of the most colorful and diverse societies worldwide, with an amazing amount of aware, spiritual and seriously evolving people.

And: language, infrastructure and culture are more appealing to me...
