Knowing Shannon's been a revelation - since I came across her stream (actually, we sort of came across each other's and asph's streams at the same time on a thread), she's consistently shot and uploaded pictures that make you stop and look again. And then again, and again. A lot of her pictures also offer a surprising amount of insight into her feelings when she took them. There's an astonishing, fascinating look at a beautiful, sensitive person who sees things in a very beautiful, very Shannon way. From macros to landscapes, her work will invariably show a sensitivity and depth of feeling that's all-too-rare and incredibly precious. Shannon stops and sees. And I can say this, with absolute confidence, that flickr is a better place for it.
