I first took up photography back when I was about 12, with a Concord compact 35mm camera. It was one of the few things I brought along when I moved to Perth.

I eventually grew less interested in photography.

However, that started to change when I went on a trip to Brisbane, and more recently, with the purchase of a Canon Powershot G9. I'm becoming reacquainted with the notion that photography is about discovery and exploration, as much as it's about preserving special moments and memories.
