Hi! I've been interested in photography for a very long time, but have only just recently got myself a 'proper' (whatever this is!) camera and taught myself enough of the basics to get myself going. At the moment I'm enjoying taking shots of anything that's around me, & lately that seems to be nice spring flowers (I know, but I really can't resist!), interesting (or even not-so-interesting) street shots, anything black and white and, perhaps a bit strangely, decaying or otherwise interesting urban fragments like doors, windows and sides of buildings. A bit of an odd mix perhaps, but as good a way as any to learn I think! What I'd really love to do is travel and take piccies all over the world, but hey I s'pose most of us would like to do that! One day! Anyway, thanks for your interest in my photostream and encouragement and I hope I can encourage each of you a little too!
