I am an agèd widowed ''girl'', passionate about (probably I should say 'obsessed with'!) photography, digital imaging and creating slideshows.

I have taken photographs since I was 11/12 years old - those first attempts with my parents' box brownie! Got my own camera when I turned 15. Over the years I 'upgraded' with umpteen different camera makes and models, eventually settling with Olympus and ended up with OM2N. For many years spent hours in my darkroom, black and white, and colour, and photographing with positive film and making slideshows for twin projector viewing.

Around 1995 I decided to go digital, which opened up a new ballgame altogether! Bought a second-hand upgraded Minolta 7. Used that for ages then went back to Olympus for an E510 DSLR and couple of extra lenses, and a C150 zoom compact.

My original forays into building digital slideshows was with PowerPoint, then Nero. When I discovered Photodex ProShow that was when my digital slideshows really took off and I was able to make use of more of the thousands of pix I have 'accumulated!’ over the years. I have well over 200 shows on DVD, of various merit! - and many more in the pipeline!

I don't try to specialise in any particular photo subject-matter., though do have a penchant for birds, cats, flowers and NH. Camera goes with me where-ever I go [the compact always goes shopping!] There's always something to be seen that's worthwhile 'snapping' ! I admit to my two least liked subject-matter - general landscapes without water! and people pix! I'm a bit 'strange' in that way! I love getting creative with my standalone shots with my photo editor (Photoshop)
