An old roommate and I started "Elbow In Your Eye" as a free, Baltimore-based punk zine in the early '90s.

Around that same time, I got interested in photography. Taking pics at shows and around the scene became a natural union of two major facets of my life.

After a few years and a half dozen issues, EIYE went the way of the dodo. But I've stuck with photography. I still dig taking pics at shows, doing band photography, and visually documenting the scene I live in.

The EIYE Gallery is a living, growing archive of the bands I've photographed. This is a selective collection of photos, focused on group pics that both show the entire band and convey a sense of the space they performed in. In short, I've tried to choose shots that document the band and captured the moment.
