I currently live in Tucson, Arizona. I moved here in 2005 after my retirement from teaching in Northern California. Got more serious about nature photography in June, 2010 with purchase of Rebel XS and 300mm lens. Upgraded to Canon 7D and 400mm lens in 2012. Also use flash attachment with beamer on occasion. My primary interest is in bird photography but I also love to do general nature photography. I try to take birding trips several times a year when time and money allow it.
