In February 2012, i felt an urge to begin exploring the flowers of California. A year later and i find myself fascinated by botanic classification, while delighting in honing my photographic skills. The field observations and analysis tickle the same parts of my mind as the research i did in physics years ago, while getting out for walks and hikes relaxes and restores me.
