EKS is the three-letter code of Mattias Ekström in the DTM now also becoming the name of a state-of-the-art Rallycross team, which wants to set new standards in the fastest growing motorsport in the world on and off the track from 2014 onwards. In 2016 Mattias became FIA World Rallycross Drivers' Champion and also Teams' Champion with EKS.

Mattias is one of the most successful, versatile and popular race drivers in the world. Being a son of former Swedish Rallycross driver Bengt Ekström, Mattias discovered RX for himself in 2013, when he started as a wild card driver in FIA European Rallycross Championship and the X Games.
