I use a Canon 10D with boring standard lenses (Vivitar 19-35mm, Canon 28-90mm, Sigma 80-300mm) but I would love better equipment!

I often have a little Sony cybershot in my pocket and some of my best shots have been taken with this little gadget.

Here's some of the things I have learned through my experience taking pictures:

1) My best shots usually involve looking stupid and getting down on the ground!

2) I feel naked without a circular polariser.

3) Outdoor shots look a lot better early in the morning or towards sunset.

4)Composition is the most important thing when taking a picture - you can fix most other things later.

5) I should take a camera everywhere I go

Your photos are truly amazing Lisa! A good camera doesn't make a good photographer, but you could probably take photos with a shoebox and they would still look good :) I'm happy to be your friend and maybe some day we can work together again, to make the world a better place...
