Raised in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Emma studied art at the University of Tasmania, completing a Master of Contemporary Art in 2007.

After a period of time in Melbourne, making and exhibiting work, Emma relocated to that ancestral country that had shaped and informed her work (and identity) her entire life. Settling, for now, in the crazy, exasperating and beautiful city of London.
