I am Ekhtiar Ahmed Bappy, a self-learned photographer from Dhaka, Bangladesh. I worked as the General Secretary of Jahangirnagar University Photographic Society (JUPS). In 2016, one of my photographs recieved a commendation at the Sony World Photography Awards.

I was photographically born in 2014. It started as a hobby to keep me busy in my free time but gradually became a big part of my life. As a photographer and visual artist, my job of capturing the most beautiful moments brings me so much fulfillment and joy. For me, photography is about exploring the beauty of life. I believe in the power of visuals. Everything can be an inspiration, from the streets to the majesty of nature.

I love traveling and meeting different cultures and people. Apart from my photography based on nature and wildlife, I love to cover contemporary events and a few portraits. My job is to faithfully depict these diverse themes while preserving respect and empathy for the subjects and people I photograph.
