Life, one shot at a time.
Landscapes, flowers, and everyday moments from Oak Park, Illinois and beyond.
My mom gave me a camera when I was a kid growing up in the '70s. Back then, film went out for development and came back weeks
later — I don't even know how many rolls I shot, or where those photos ended up.
I worked with film on and off over the years, then jumped at one of the first Kodak digital cameras before DSLRs even existed. The
resolution was laughable by today's standards, but the immediacy was intoxicating — shoot, edit, done.
These days I mostly shoot with an iPhone or Android, always with me and always ready. I still love trying new techniques and tools
— Hipstamatic, CampSnap, Lensbaby — anything that pushes the image in an interesting direction.
No need to reciprocate F&F — it just helps me navigate some of Flickr's more antiquated social features. But you're welcome to.
