Many of my pictures has a CC license, but all of my pictures has the attribution clause. You must credit me with a caption/byline/...
Scholars who look for pictures to be used in presentations/papers in institutions where the knowledge will be free to all (aka universities all over the world) are free to use the pictures without asking. The attribution clause does still count though.
Newspapers, blogs, other web sites, printing industry or or other will have to follow the license added to each individual picture. For usage exceeding this; contact me.
I usually grant the right to use my pictures, but I will use my privilege to be asked, and keep the right to say no.
