I've taken snapshots of beautiful places for as long as I can remember, but I've only been working seriously on my photography as an art for the last couple of years. By seriously, I mean I moved from Texas to Oregon, where there are an extra four months available to spend time outside without melting. Also, we have an ocean, mountains and very tall trees.

Currently, I live with my husband and cat on the central Oregon coast, where we're working (cat not included) part-time in non-career type positions and spending our savings to be able to play outside. In my past life in Texas I worked in higher education in marketing and public relations, where I was a writer and editor and had the chance to dabble in graphic design, web development and bureaucratic politics.
