"The Hook from Heaven"

Manaiakalani is the Hook from Heaven that was given to Maui so he could succeed in the world’s largest ever fishing project. In a decile 1A community a powerful hook is needed to promote student engagement and motivate students for success. We now have significant proof that the emerging technologies of the e-Learning Action plan are just such a hook for our students when used in a creative, aural, oral, interactive way that resonates with Maori & Pasifika cultures.
