So... I feel myself real amature in photography... It's true...I'm professional graphic artist and designer. Worked for book publishers, magazines, other companies as illustrator or designer but never as photographer...

The old new Fairy Tale... or Little Red Riding Hat in New York before Holidays.

I used photography just as a part of my art job... The main word in this sentence is ART... Once upon a time I understood that a photography is also kind of art with the same laws and rules... Rules in art? It means "no any rules" - just final result is important. Who cares what kind of brushes or paints used an artist when he created a picture, what was his "kitchen"...

Near the glass... or meeting of the riders.

Now no difference to me what I'm making: paintings, illustrations, design, photographs - all these things are just different sides of art I'm living in...

Wish list... or letter to Santa.

Even more... The art of photography is the major thing to me now...

I'm not interested in making a copies of the Mother Nature. God created her perfectly and my copy never will be even close... That's why I use photography for creating my own, "second reality"...

The opinions by other people and comments by my Flickr friends (doesn't matter positive or negative, specially with constructive criticizm) are always welcome. It's very important to me because only reading them helps to understand what I really am...

So... my works to your judgement...

During Big Sale... or Marketing News.

Testimonials

I really want to congratulate you on your talent and endless creativity. Each of your images is a little gem, done with such care and detail. Although not my 'thing', you know I am a 'straight' photographer, I always admire them tremendously. Thank you for the beauty, Magda, (*_*)

Eugene is an absolute master image maker. His HDR's are exceptional by themselves, but his added texturing turn them into "phenomenal". He has also been a real encouragement and supporter to my fledgling ability. Thanks man and well done.

Eugene's pictures are no doubt from a far-away vividly beautiful land. His images can grab your attention and always have you coming back for more. His unique take on the world and the remarkable colorful process of his images are a true inspiration in a world of flickr.

Sometimes it may happen when wandering around Flickr to meet some people that have the knack of putting everybody at their ease at once. In all honesty I have to admit that Eugene is one of these without any doubts, in spite of the language barrier. I was stricken at once when looking at his first Flickr picture, “The hungry,” that independently from the excellent treatment had such a force in itself, the real force of creativity, as to make it inevitable my instant personal esteem. Afterwards I was stricken by Egold’s exclusive tones of blue, a real trademarks of his style (see for instance his masterpieces “Perseus by Cellini”, “Bergamo. Cappella Colleoni”, “Pisa. Campo dei miracoli”, “Venice.Vaporetto”, “Venice.Ponte di Rialto” and many others). I understood at once that he was a great creative photographer and from that moment on I was often looking forward to view his new pictures. Let’s have a good look at his particular accuracy when going into the minutest architectural details, at his exclusive way of reinterpreting and redepicting the reality accordingly with his particular creativity without altering the essence of the subjects but almost increasing their beauty, always faithful to the original source at the same time. This is one of the main reason I appreciate his style. Furthermore, we can find in all his photos a real devotion for the art in itself, a great carefulness when describing with words the relevant distinctive features of his subjects. He’s not interested in conforming to the standard taste at all; all his pictures are based on the intellectual uprightness that always mark out his personality together with a great technical skill when handling the digital photo post-processing with an endless competence. Nowadays thanks to him we can enjoy the best beauties of Italy when visiting his rich photostream, and as far as I’m concerned I’m very grateful to him for that.

There is a lot to see in this relatively new Flickr site--and an exceptional processing talent at work. I expect to see some marvelous images appearing here, driven by a vision that makes photography come alive.

I am new to viewing Eugene's work, but I am already captivated by his ability to work wonders with everyday ordinary sites that we take for granted & often pass by not noticing--He makes even the ordinary very special & I love his treatments--His work is definitely attention getting, & worthy of that attention.
