Non faccio il fotografo. Sono architetto, e neppure faccio l’architetto… Infatti, faccio il consulente immobiliare. Le fotografie, oltre quelle familiare, degli amici, sono solo parte del mio lavoro quotidiano. Ogni proprietà soggetto di valutazione, vendita, affitto, deve anche essere fotografata. Non c’è bisogno di scattare foto “artistiche” per un reporting o brochure. Quindi, non so niente di fotografia, solo fare “click”, e basta…

Per raggioni che non bisogna spiegare qui, ho dovuto aprire un account su Yahoo. Poco dopo, ho trovato Flickr. Ho cominciato a caricare alcune delle mie foto, dei miei figli, amici… Non me ne ero accorta che questo era un sito per fotografi veramente professionali. E mai visto tante foto che soltanto si possono descrivere come “capolavori”.

Però, al’improvviso, uno dei miei primi contatti qui ha fatto un interessante e gentile commento su una mia foto che pensavo nessuno mai avesse neanche guardato. E dopo ho pensato: bene, non faccio il fotografo, ma ci tenterò…

Grazie mille a tutti coloro che hanno commentato, aggiunto tra preferite, invitato ai gruppi, i miei “home-made-capolavori”…

I’m not a photographer. I’m an architect, but I don’t even work as one. In fact, I’m a Real Estate Consultant. Pictures, besides those from my family, friends, are only part of my ordinary work. Each property subject of valuation, sale, rent, must be also photographed. It’s not necessary to make “artistic” pictures for reports or brochures. So, I don’t know anything about photography, just to make “click”, and that’s all...

For some reasons unnecessary to explain here, I had to open an account on Yahoo. Then, I founded Flickr. I began loading some of my pictures, of my kids, my friends…

I haven’t realized that this is a site for very professional photographers. And I’ve never seen so many pictures which can only be described as “masterpieces”.

Then, suddenly, one of my first contacts in here made a very interesting and gentle comment about one of my pictures, one which I thought nobody would even look at it.

And then I thought: well, I’m not a photographer, but I’ll give it a try…
