Working from Sydney's inner west, Simon draws inspiration from the patterns of nature that surround us in plant, animal and stellar forms. Electric Firefly turns waste plastic into light fantastic by sourcing recycled plastics from Australian companies that use post-industrial as well as discarded household waste, our carbon footprint is pretty small. Manufacturing recycled material uses a lot less electricity and produces about 10% as much carbon dioxide as raw material does. On top of that, there's no chlorine, mercury or cadmium used in manufacture, so the whole process (and finished product) is completely non-toxic. Additionally all of our packaging is made from recycled cardboard.
