About Erik Estrada
A life-long Filipino, Erik Estrada brings a sense of patience, humor and a simple work ethic to all of his photography engagements. It started a couple of year's that Erik began to really enjoy and love the "World of Photographs" after getting his first digital point&shoot camera while working abroad. In his younger days he always love to browse some fascinating pictures on some magazine like the "National Geographic" and want to have a FILM camera but unfortunately that time living in Manila is expensive for a middle-class family.
He is an ex-officer of "PinoyGraphers@SG", a Filipino photography group based in Singapore and also one of the co-project member for their 1st ever CoffeeTableBook : Photo Genesis.
Currently he is learning these type of photography : Landscapes, Seascapes, Photojournalism Still-life and Abstract using different techniques like HDR, IR, Orton Effect and many more...
His biggest influence is the "National Geographic" publications which helped him become aware of "the wonderful things around us". He love using saturated color because it brings life to his pictures.

I couldn't believe this humble young man (Read " i always loved photography but never had the money to get the right camera since my highschool days, but now I already have my very first DSLR.") eriksanctuary.blo... Eric is incredibly talented!! I havent met him personally but reading his blogs and just by mere looking at his photostreams you can really tell the man and his passion!! He's not just a photographer he is an artist. His photos had won numerous awards and accolades he is a promissing photographer to be watch off. Since then i always look forward to his masterpieces being posted. i know those who happen to to get a chance in visiting his photostream will keep on coming and will never hesitate to add him as a contact or perhaps be a friend coz now he is one to me already a "good flickr friend"
