My name is Edzo Boven, an amateur photographer living in the south of the Netherlands.

 

Starting with photography on the age of 14 with a Ricoh 500G I got enthousiastic and already one year later I bought my first SLR camera, a Praktica super TL2 and another year later my first Pentax camera, the Pentax MX. Ever since I am a Pentax user, from the MX to the SFX, and my first digital, the *istDS, just making "snap-shots" during holidays and family events.

 

After buying a digital Sea&Sea DX-2G underwater camera in 2009 and a photo course "Underwater photography" I have also re-started my photo hobby on land again. After one and a half year with the Pentax K-x, and some years with the K-5 and K-5IIs, I now own a Pentax K-3.

 

I have special interest in macro photography, urban/urbex photography and landscapes.
