Agradezco el haber pasado por aquí a visitarme.

 

Nacido en Caracas, Venezuela, en noviembre de 1957.

Aficionado a la fotografía tradicional (film) desde 1978, retomando la afición y el gusto por este arte en agosto de 2007 al adquirir mi equipo fotográfico digital.

 

Luego de tantos años todavía soy un muy aficionado aprendiz y todavía busco mi propio estilo. Falta mucho por conocer, aprender y dominar. No ha sido fácil el salto de la fotografía tradicional de película a la era digital. De allí lo tímido de la muestra en mi todavía indefinida galería. Por cada foto publicada tengo mil sin publicar reposando en la clandestinidad de mi disco duro.

I'm Edwin Rivera and I was born in Caracas - Venezuela on november 1957.

I do not consider myself an artist but I enjoy all the wonderful artwork photography related.

 

I discovered my interest in photography when I was just a kid. I used to capture images with my father's old Exacta 35mm film camera (on 1973) and about five years later I had the oportunity to get my Canon A-1 film camera which I still have in optimal conditions.

 

Recently, after about 14 years retired from photography, in august 2007, I finally decided to upgrade to "the digital age" acquiring my Canon EOS Rebel XTi. Now I'm starting again in photography, this time in digital photography.

 

Although my very early passion in my life is photography, unfortunatelly I don't have enought time to do it all the time. Because of office workload demands, I don't get out much. Any way I love to do the occasional shoot.
