Hello there, stranger.
Edward Eng specialises in architectural, interior, and landscape photography and is based in Singapore.
Apart from working for clients including the National University of Singapore and photographing for a Rotary Club medical mission to Nepal, Eng's work has been exhibited in London for the Altius Associates art show, as well as at the National museum of Singapore upon winning the prestigious Singapore Young Photographer Award. In 2011, he released a photobook documenting his travels, raising over S$25,000 in aid of World Vision International's relief work.
Eng's work involves mostly colour photographs of landscapes and architecture. His photographs and mixed-media pieces tend to be dominated by an almost obsessive desire for clean lines and forms, heavily influenced by mono no aware and zen design principles. However, Eng's photographs frequently present contrasting elements such as movement and clashing colours, displaying a progressiveness that characterises his work.
As of 28th May 2011, I'm currently featured at the Altius Art Exhibition in London - www.altiusartexhibition.com/
