EdShare is a set of extentions to EPrints which create rich content teaching and learning repositories with a web2.0 twist. The goal of the software is to make it trivial to create, share and remix everyday teaching materials in a collaborative environment. Both EdShare and EPrints are open source and designed to be easily customisable to your individual needs.

As well installing the full EdShare suite it is also possible to augement other kinds of repository with EdShares rich content features. These features include inplace previews, commenting, dynamic toolboxs and flexible viewing and editing permissions.
