Archives is part of Special Collections, based in the Centre for Research Collections at Edinburgh University Library.

We are responsible for the archives of the university, its predecessor and affiliated bodies. We also have papers of private individuals and organisations, including alumni and staff. The photographs here are a small selection of what we hold.

Please note that while some images are derived from high-quality digital masters, others are drawn from secondary copies. We hope to replace the latter with high quality derivatives in due course.

At the moment our content on Flickr should be regarded as an experiment ONLY. If we decide to sustain this, the text on this page will be changed to reflect that.
