Danial Shah is an adventure seeker, independent, freelance travel photographer and writer wandering tirelessly around Pakistan for positive stories. As a storyteller, Danial travels extensively , working on commission, assignment, creative stock images, writing and training.
“I have always enjoyed traveling and exploring Pakistan and i began to capture significant details that i found interesting & appealing, and the passion of storytelling was born. I am not bound by any cubicle to work in, outdoors are enough to wander”
In 2010, Danial launched the first travel blog of Pakistan iExplorePakistan.com, traveled all across from south to the north and documented the diversified culture and landscape of the country. Based on his work, Danial was awarded Nishan-e-Azm (symbol of pride) and Travel Blogger of the year in 2011.
His portfolio consists of travel, anthropology, landscape, culture, archeology and countless other natural beauties around.
Danial’s travel work is represented by Getty Images, and his work has been published in Dawn (Pakistan), Express Tribune Magazine (Pakistan), Herald (Pakistan), Himal SouthAsian (Nepal) and Trek&Mountain (UK).

We tend to make impressions about people whom we have not met before but know them through their poetry , Art, Books ,work or photography,etc. This impression may totally differ from what the real person is. This is what happened to me in case of Danial. I recently met Danial when he was on his recent visit to Quetta. I admit that I had a mental image of Danial being a very mature person having lots and lots of experience and knowledge which he always portrays throughs his photography but I was amazed to see a young ,college sophomore at my doorsteps. I at once asked him in disbelief "are you Danial" (guessing that he was Danial's 20 years younger brother). Yes, that young boy with quite manly looks was Danial himself. Well I ought not to figure out my flickr friends through their photographs. Anyways , Danial go on, keep posting your latest pics ( I want to see what you do with your new gun "Sony Alpha 300"). Lots of love for this young man.

When Danial commented on my Pakistan photostream set, it gives me a chance to view his photostream. I was very amazed on the photos that have been captured by Danial. Mostly on Pakistan, but they show all the off the beaten track places. Danial photos makes me want to come back and live in Pakistan again. Danial also potray the real life of Pakistan through his artistic capture. As much as I love all the photos that have been capture by Danial, I love him as one of my good flickr friends.
