Episcopal Community Services is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, providing supportive housing, health services, and skills training to homeless and low-income adults located 8th and Natoma in the Soma Neighborhood
ECS By The Numbers
ECS's 3 shelters provide 3,892 homeless men and women with a clean, safe place to sleep and two hot meals per day alone with services, showers, and lockers.
ECS's 9 supportive housing buildings created community and a place to call home for 1,087 formerly homeless men, women, and children. All sites offered case management and access to social services.
ECS's Senior Services supplied daily meals and recreation to 1,330 seniors and information and referrals to 5,641 low-income seniors and adults with disabilities through our Canon Kip Senior Center and Aging and Disability Resource Center.
ECS's Education and Employment Services equipped 530 homeless students with adult literacy or GED classes, basic computer skills, job counseling, and/or culinary training.
ECS involved 1,359 volunteers in gardening, tutoring, cooking, serving meals, painting, and a whole host of helpful activities.
