East Coast Racer was accused of using photos that were not ours, this is false and can be proven however since Flickr's policy is to not only cancel but completely delete accounts and never ask questions we have decided that this is not a customer friendly environment.
We feel in fairness we should have at least been consulted about the alleged content, which by the way we are not even being told what it is. Considering we had over 8k photos uploaded it would be nice to know which were being claimed as stolen.
We have decided we will upload only a few photos to the site here and if anyone wishes to see more they can see the freely at no charge on the East Coast Racer website located at www.eastcoastracer.com
Currently we are trying to get the account re-esstablished since there were so many photos and re-uploading everything would take a large amount of time, however Flickr also does not like Customer Service, they feel the best method is through email, rather than something more personal like a 15min phone call. It must be bad when even that lying cheating banks are providing better customer service these days.
We hope to have this account active but ask that everyone learn from our hardship, all someone has to do is falsify a claim and they get to have your account closed down, they do not have to prove it is theirs, only sign a piece of papers claiming it is, then it is up to you to re-upload and hope it does not happen again, note though you have no other options through Flickr or Yahoo.
