I love to make things!! It's my escape...my bliss.

My adoration for a variety of styles from retro to rustic, antique to contemporary, Elvis to Alice in Chains, truly makes my tastes eclectic by definition. I believe that variety IS the spice of life.

I can think of nothing better than having an idea that involves making something from what I have on hand at that moment. My mother always said "one man's junk is another man's treasure". It must be true...I can hardly throw anything away without first giving thought to if I could make something out of it.

I find things that I am drawn to, I buy them, take them home and wait until THEY tell me what I am supposed to do with or make from them. Fabrics are the best finds...I hoard them!

One should be surrounded by the things that are pleasing to them.
