I am not a professional photographer, but my late father was. Having no photographic education, any skill I may have was picked up through being an inexpensive model all through my childhood, and by hearing my father's criticism of images, both his own and others'.

After many years of no photography, in the early 2000's I picked up a cheap digital camera. I did the best I could with each camera until it became too limiting, at which point I bought a better one. My current camera is a Nikon D810.
