I emigrated from Great Clacton, Essex, UK to Canada in 1967 and have lived the last 47 years in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia. I bought my first digital camera in late 2005 and am totally hooked! I have just started using the Fuji X camera system and am really impressed with the quality of the files. My main interest is landscape photography with a bit of nature and travel thrown in.

I appreciate having my photos invited to groups but tend to shy away from ones where a condition of posting is to comment on other images. I always try to browse a groups pages after posting to comment on images that catch my eye. I want to comment because I enjoy the image not because I have to. Please feel free to tear my images apart if you feel they could be improved, I don't mind and won't take offence!
